DAY 1 - Arrive Nairobi

Met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our airport representative and transferred to your hotel. Meals: Breakfast. Lodging: The Norfolk Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya .

DAY 2 - Cruise on Lake Naivasha

Breakfast and check out. Descend the escarpment to Lake Naivasha, the highest and purest of the Rift Valley lakes. Built along the shores of Lake Naivasha. The hotel is centered on an elegant old house with wood floors, French doors and a long covered veranda leading to the lawns. Several wings and clusters of rooms and cottages are set in 12 hectares of cool lawns shaded by spreading fever trees. Rustic wooden chairs and benches invite one to relax and listen to the birds. Meandering walkways lead down to a wooden gazebo built over the water, perfect for watching birds, water-life, or sunset. After lunch your afternoon boat cruise takes you to the breeding grounds of pelicans, fish eagles, and cormorants. DAY 3 - Visit the flamingos

Full day trip to Lake Nakuru with bush lunch in the park. Drive to the edge of the lake to view thousands of birds feeding in the alkaline water; see the sweeping view from the top of Baboon Rocks; then look for warthogs and waterbuck. Return to Naivasha Simba for overnight. Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner Lodging: Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge, Naivasha, Kenya Home to over 120 species of mammal including the fabled Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most sought after safari destinations in the world. It's a particularly good place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grassy plains, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water. From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you'll be able to observe and photograph some of Africa's most recognizable faces. The crater is home to a large number of predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, as well as a large population of wildebeest, zebras, antelope, cape buffalo, and more. It is truly one of Africa's premier safari destinations. After the thrills and excitement of the day, you will have a picnic lunch by the park's famous hippo pool before returning to Arusha. .

DAY 4 - Stay at ‘The Noah’s Ark’

Across the Aberdare range of mountains to Aberdare Country Club for lunch. In the afternoon proceed into the Aberdare to The Ark. The Ark overlooks the Yasabara waterhole, perhaps the largest salt-lick in the Aberdare Mountains and the haunt of a variety of forest game unequalled in Africa. This tree-lodge is uniquely shaped to resemble the actual Ark, designed with decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide superb vantage points for viewing the animals visiting the salt-lick and waterhole. DAY 5 - Elephants in Kenya’s northern region

After breakfast, drive north and across the equator on the way to the northern foothills of Mount Kenya, a 17,058-foot dormant volcano with a glistening cap of ice and snow. After lunch at the lodge proceed for an afternoon game drive in this grassland area, which forms the bridge between Kenya’s lush south and parched north. DAY 6 - Rare game in Samburu National Reserve

A morning and afternoon game driving includes outings at dawn, when animals are most active and in the late morning and afternoon when the light is best for photography. Return to the lodge for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Today you stay close to the Ewaso Nyiro River, where vast herds of plains game come to water, braving lions in the grass, leopards in the trees, and giant crocodiles. Stars of Samburu not easily seen elsewhere are the liver-red reticulated giraffe, the long- necked gerenuk antelopes, and the elegant grevy’s zebra. DAY 7 - Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast check out and transfer to Samburu Airstrip for your Air Kenya scheduled flight to Mara departing at 1130hrs. On arrival at Masai Mara National Reserve you are met by a team from the camp and transferred to Mara Safari club. The lodge is located in Maasai Mara National Park on the saddle of a hill overlooking the Mara plains, woodland and river courses. DAY 8 - Explore Masai Mara Game Reserve

Dawn, morning and afternoon game drives in the MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE, Kenya’s best and most scenic park. At the northern extremity of the unique Serengeti ecosystem, blessed with permanent water supply, the Masai Mara has a thriving, permanent population of plains game, augmented in the dry season by the migration of 2 million gnus and zebra from the vast, parched Serengeti plains. Of the hunter’s “big five” elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard are quite common, while even the much rare rhino might come out of the thicket for you. Hyenas are plentiful and the cheetah, a 60-miles- per-hour daytime hunter, is often seen. Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner Lodging: Mara Safari Club, Masai Mara Game .

DAY 9 - Relax in Day rooms/Depart to USA
