Balloon safaris

Possibly one of the most romantic forms of safari; rise high above the land below as you drift silently through the air with incredible views. These safaris work best in Tanzania or Kenya, due to their vast flat plains and lack of extensive foliage to cause any obstructions. Conducted during the early morning it presents guests the chance to watch the sunrise over some of the world’s most diverse and spectacular landscapes.

This is a luxury safari encompassing the ancient wilderness of northern Tanzania – from the river-fed wilds of Manyara to the sweeping grasslands of the Serengeti and, naturally, the great natural wonder that is the Ngorongoro Crater.Embark on an unforgettable fly-in safari to East Africa’s renowned game reserves and national parks. Observe huge herds roaming the vast savanna of the Serengeti, abundant bird life of Lake Manyara, the lost world in Ngorongoro crater, and rare species in Samburu National Reserve. You could readily encounter Africa’s Big Five species in their natural environment/habitat, but your biggest thrill may be the included hot air balloon ride at dawn over the Maasai Mara. Travel in exclusive KUT Safari vehicles, and stay in lovely tented camps and safari lodges on this new Tanzania and Kenya Royal Safari.
